Sorry but you are wrong.Straight performance like cornering was always very importante too European costumers.

Engines sizes are increasing simple because in part cars are becoming heavier and heavier and too like a natural evolution of sports cars,not only in Europe but all over the world. More safety regulations,more equipment and so on.The only car maker that resembles with American sports car is AMG with theres fantastic 6.3 V8 block and only in engine size.Europeans cars were always way faster than American cars,think Ferrari,Lamborghini,Porsche...

Your auto boxes have nothing to have with this amazing twin clutch dont forget that.

Drive fast,drive European.
