Car sales are motivated by the market, the reason American cars aren't really sold in Europe is because they're (historically) a bit big and wobbly for the narrow roads here which involve 'corners'. Fuel prices also play a massive role. Conditions are very different.
Also FYI, an apostrophe is used to denote possession, not plurality....

I'm not a fan of the styling on any BMW's before or after the E30 M3, until the E39 5, and E46 3. And today, I again am no fan of the styling. They are better than some other cars of the era, but nowhere near my cup of milk.
Also, four periods is overuse; three is correct.
The truth of the matter is; European countries have huge tax disadvantages on importing American cars in general. The US market cars don't do too many favors to themselves either when pricing those cars in the European markets. It isn't about what Europeans prefer, since the market was never allowed to properly set itself like it has in the USA traditionally.
