The camera's could also be there for a commercial or something. So maybe they are filming for a commercial...

I dont see this happening anytime soon. $100k a camera x 30-40 of them.. It all adds up plus each country would have to buy their own set of cameras.

If they had the same team doing the broadcast each race, ofcourse it would be possible for all the races to be in HD but the situation at the moment I find it unlikely.

Still having the USA GP in HD will prob happen since they are the forfront of this technology takeup.

I dont have a HDTV yet so this doesn't effect me either way!! For me seeing the races live then a 30-60min delay is more important.

actually Bernie has one crew that does all the races, FOM...and one of the reason to going to hd is cause the old cameras have taken a beating from all travel...(pitpass article)...

If you read it it states, Bernie has only started it this season and it was local upto 2006 which was what I was on about

That is great news for all fans

My friend who does have a 50" plasma can confirm that it is indeed in 16:9(watching the practise sessions live here) tho he thinks the quality is abit down on other sporting events he has seen in HD. Ill know on Sunday when I go over to watch the race!!!

Yeah Im going to try and get all the races with incar this season

Forza Ferrari
