F1 in HD?
that would be fantastic. they should have done it a long time ago
I can remember bernie saying the 2006 north american races would be in HD. I hope this is true.
The camera's could also be there for a commercial or something. So maybe they are filming for a commercial...
I dont see this happening anytime soon. $100k a camera x 30-40 of them.. It all adds up plus each country would have to buy their own set of cameras.
If they had the same team doing the broadcast each race, ofcourse it would be possible for all the races to be in HD but the situation at the moment I find it unlikely. Still having the USA GP in HD will prob happen since they are the forfront of this technology takeup. I dont have a HDTV yet so this doesn't effect me either way!! For me seeing the races live then a 30-60min delay is more important. |
actually Bernie has one crew that does all the races, FOM...and one of the reason to going to hd is cause the old cameras have taken a beating from all travel...(pitpass article)...
http://theracingline.net/forum/showp...46&postcount=1 *Australia according to ORF and Prem being screened in 16:9 btw have u seen the jw 'trade' center...u gotta put up your onboard footage...all of it :!: |
That would be good news indeed! :D
