Default where can i get an xvid codec?

ok im trying to watch a movie which is in XViD codec, ive tried about am illion different websites and none of them owrk, does any one have a working one they can share? :cry:

woa that wus a fast reply :shock: lol but ive tried that, there is no setup file which installs the codec for u and i dont know how to install it any other way

if you have some sort of codec pack uninstall it and install newer, or if you dont have any install new version it will probably overwrite oldones(mybe not ). K-lite kodecpack do the trick most of the times for me - http://www.codecguide.com/

Shouldnt it be in Gizmos section? 8)

go into the downloads section and have a look, try this for example:

Thanks guys to all who replied! the only method which works for me is Armans link. I have tried the links that Dan and Dingo gave me a while ago and they didnt work. Thanks to all who helped! finaly i get to see my movie
