where can i get an xvid codec?
 
ok im trying to watch a movie which is in XViD codec, ive tried about am illion different websites and none of them owrk, does any one have a working one they can share? :cry:

woa that wus a fast reply :shock: lol but ive tried that, there is no setup file which installs the codec for u and i dont know how to install it any other way :(

if you have some sort of codec pack uninstall it and install newer, or if you dont have any install new version it will probably overwrite oldones(mybe not :? ). K-lite kodecpack do the trick most of the times for me - http://www.codecguide.com/

Shouldnt it be in Gizmos section? 8)

go into the downloads section and have a look, try this for example:

I usually use the koepi builds which are always exe installers

Thanks guys to all who replied! the only method which works for me is Armans link. I have tried the links that Dan and Dingo gave me a while ago and they didnt work. Thanks to all who helped! finaly i get to see my movie :D:D
