Fucking aye! 8) I love the RX8 but when I sat in it the cabin seemed pretty cramped. It looked very well built and the details were nice. How was the drive?

It first seemed cramped to me too, but after a few minutes of driving, thats feeling disappeares.
The drive was excelent!
The car saw some drifting action, with me behind the wheel.
It's realy hard to drive fast and hard arround corners without the tcs's intervention, so I disabled it. On an empty side road ofcourse.
You can never be too carefull...

Never tried the corolla. I don't like it, and that car isn't all that good.
I read many times, that the whole car is just too soft and has somekind of mellow feel to it. They usually compare it to the civic type r, and it allways looses by a mile.
This engine has a unique sound. It revs over 9k rpm wich is insane.
You have to shift alot, because it's reeeeeeeeeealy lazy at low revs.
Everything happens above the 6000 rpm mark.
I actually like the s2000 or the cicivt type r 's engines alot more.....

I've gotten to drive an S2000, didn't push it too hard (sales rep with me and cop following me  ) but it still moves, but like you said for RX-8, the magic happens above 6k. Thanks for the pics, and nice speed there...

Thanks again....another test drive to your collection. Where did you do that 237kmh....in Germany I hope?
I hope your next test drive is of something with 8 or 12 cylinders, and starting with F maybe.

Screw the light, there are plenty of nice pictures you took. I thought this one was great!
I have read and seen a lot about this car and it all says the same, so I know what it is like, but I'd like to experience that engine myself some time!

Thanks for the photos; agree with stradale that was a nice shot.
Did you have much trouble getting the engine cover off? Mazda really have to throw some hardware at the rotary to make it emission compliant but damn they could have made it a bit neater.
It is like they finished the engine and thought "shit thats ugly , better cover it with a big hunk of plastic to stop anyone from seeing it."
Like the car though, nice to see in black instead of the usual red.

The photo with the engine cover removed was taken at the dealership.
