@ adamk24: you should change the topic name a bit: it's Nürburgring, not Nurinbergring
To be more precise, it's the Nordschleife (the old Nürburgring). I like this track a lot, cause it's first of all naturally planted in the hills around Nürburg, and because of it's very long and special character.
But on the other hand it's also a very difficult track and even to some extend scary, cause at some places there is no grass between the crash barriers and the small track. Everyone who has ever driven on it will agree with me.
It takes loads of laps before you know the track well. Not only is it difficult to memorise all the 172 corners, but you also have to know the road surfaces very well, due to the many bumps. There are a lot of blind corners and corners you can't see when approaching, cause they are hidden behind a hill. You also have corners that suddenly become a lot tighter, but you can't see it when entering the corner (due to the trees or a hill blocking your view). And then there are some corner combinations that look like each other, but are actually quite different. So you may not mix them up.
It's quite a thrill driving on it. I did it only as a passenger a few times and that already gave me some adrenaline
