Shame that the XKR is out of reach, but the Jag is about the looks too 8)

Good luck with the XK8 tom, but the 535 must have been pretty potent

Can't wait for you to get a digicam (and the car, of course) and take loads of great photos

yeah the bm was big but fast. 3.5 V8. 0-60 sub 8 seconds. 152mph.

Sounded beautiful at high revs. Foot in carpet -> kickdown -> arrrrgggghhhhhhhh!!!

from the test drive, the xk8 was actually quiter, even though it has a larger engine.

I'll definately get some nice piccies when i get myself a cam.

Thanks for the comments

Nice car

My dads had his for about 4 years and its still going very nicely, got under 15k on the clock too

IMO one of the best GT's and mile munchers money can buy, especially with the looks.

Performance is good enough for sunday blasts and loves smooth long flowing curves but with the CATS also can handle the twisties, but its in its prime above 80. Its one of those cars thats very deceptive with regards to speed. 120 feels about 70

My dad was considering a new exhaust and the best we found were these but fairly expensive.

Worth it though, heard a paramount xkr in town and it rumbled along like an aston. These exhausts fully unleash the V8 if your looking for a new exhaust and come in different "strengths" from "quiet" to full blown grnad prix
