Yeah, it must have been very sad for the M3 driver, having such a huge lead and in the blink of an eye being smashed like that

Should have used M-dynamic mode traction control... although it wouldn't have made any difference on the outcome!

^^It sounded like the M3 was using launch control to me. BTW, it looks like the Veyron not only let off before the finish line, but also put the breaks on; kind of like what Ben Johnson did when he beat Carl Lewis in Korea (but then got disqualified...)

Man... Giving a pretty fast car a headstart, flooring it, and then braking before the finish line really tells you how fast the Veyron really is. Or the driver was confident.

The only traction control launch I have seen that doesn't include tire slip is that of the 599GTB.
