Who cares what auto journalists have said? BTW are you some how now denying that 54 years of produciton is not a very long run? Man your hatred of different opinions sure runs deep.
Simply opening a history book and READING the story about how and why and when the Beetle production moved would be enough for anyone with an IQ over 20 to figure out that the Beetle was only made in Mexico and Brazil because of the LACK of SAFETY and EMMISION standards, and the car would have been killed off in 1985 had it not been for this fact.
This alone, means the Beetle did not stay in "uninterupted production" for the duration.
But for a childish hater such as yourself that simply wants to find a way to post and spew hatred for and about others opinions what else would one excpect.
Oh - and if you pulled your head out of your arse long enough to read the actual thread with some comprehension, then you would have determined that through mutual sharing and appreciation it has come to light that the Morgan 4/4 in fact is the longest running production car while meeting some very simply and basic criteria...
Remain true to the original formula and be produced in the country of origin.
So - if you really have a problem with me or my opinions chum, why don't you get in your car and drive the fuck over to Texas and lets settle this argument in person like adults - instead of you trying your level best to "internet-intimidate".
