Hmm but guys, can u really judge cars by there times there? I mean most of the track is straight and most of the turns u get are friendly ones... That’s why American cars are good there... Even Ferrari use this sick prudent way that they don’t check there cars any where but on Fiorina which doesn’t give us a chance to compare it with other cars… but I think we shouldn’t count on that German track much cause as “ice” said it’s a big track and u can mistake several times and for taking an accurate lap with no mistake how many times should u go around it, and u have to know that track well…


From my experience (playing GT4 ) I see that Tsukuba is fairly a good track to judge, it have different type of turns plus its small..

lets not forget that the "base model" 911 (997 Carrera) is about half the price of the cheapest new Ferrari, so it stands to reason that there are more of them about. I'm not sure on pricing in the USA, but here a 996 GT2 was about the same price as a new Ferrari. So far I have seen alot more 360's/F430's than I have GT2's......

hehe, i wasnt quite comparing vs. the F cars in this topic... dont get me wrong, i absolutely love the F cars oh, and as for 360 vs. 996 GT2's... GT3's... well, ive yet to see a GT3 in michigan, and i've only seen one GT2 the summer of 2004 up in Traverse City... i've already seen 2 F430's (in a 2 week span) on the road...
so, for the new 200,000 top sports car... Ferrari is still king over here

I am wondering if this is the same Nurburgring that everyone else is thinking of... "most of the turns are friendly"??

Pretty biased comment there... there is only one American car that has done well at the 'Ring... (well 2 - if you count the CTS-V - well 3 if you also count the STS-V )

The C5 Z06 and the C6 Z06 have proven that they do well a the Nurburgring, not because the Nurburgring is an "easy track that allows the badly handling American cars to do well" -- but becuase they are decently handling cars.

Thsi would be the FIRST time I have heard someone slam the Ring as "easy" because American cars do well there hehe

You have to know the track well... -- you said it.. but you could also be a professional race car driver... you know they have 24 hour races on the Nurburgring.. right? And there are people who have hundreds, maybe thousands of laps there - I think they qualify as "Know the trcak well"..
