Now it seems that besides us real fanatics, it is now "fashionable" to attend Goodwood as a social event and as such folks are held at a little more arms lenght.
Is this really the case? That the "Pebble Beach" style crowd are diluting the hardcore nature of Goodwood?
Either way great to attend I am sure. Who knows if between all the NASCAR Speed TV will even show us more than just a brief news item on Goodwood.

You hit the nail on the head mate, i went 3 years ago and it was already becoming more and more crowded with people who looked more interested in getting pissed than looking at the cars.
My dads been each year since and said it gets worse each year. Still some very nice cars there though.
