But not calling it the Skyline GTR is sacrelidge. Whats the point of calling it the Infiniti GTR everyone knows its a Skyline so do the right thing call it the Skyline GTR, even if it is sold as a Infiniti rather then a Nissan.
Im already drolling at the prospect of 911 T Vs GTR

So have I, but this comes from a trusty source. The final concept will be unveiled 31st October this year... there wont be too many changes done to the looks of it.
The reason they are not called Skyline is because In the US they market it differently Skyline will be a name that stays in Japan.
Over here, as with the Infiniti G35 (which is SKYLINE 350GT in Japan), it might come as Infiniti GT-R. This has not been said yet. They are still deciding.
In one part, if it is called Nissan, they wont do well chargin 80K $ for a Nissan, but the Nissan Skyline name would stay.
Also, Lexus is making their supercar (worth over 100k to beat ferraris) so I think its a good idea Infiniti start worrying about this. Infiniti has beaten Lexus in all other cars so far... they should try and keep it that way.
Performancewize, I am SURE that this car will be a monster! Infiniti has been increasing car power by A LOT compared to when they started. They made the M45 a FUKIN fast saloon which beat every other saloon on car and driver magazine comparison (even the 5 series BMW).
now interiorwize... boy we might have a problem... That was the only criticizm they gave the M45 and when you compare G35 with the Lexus IS, IS is beter on the interior part. Anyway with the performance this GT-R should have, the Interior wont be of too much matter.
Besides, if you want confy luxury... then you wouldnt want a sports car as the suspension would make the ride stiff (luxury looking people also want smooth ride).
