Default 24h de Spa: training day

About two months ago I went to the test day of the 24h of Spa. The cool thing about is was the fact I was able to present myself as a journalist. So I was able to park my car inside the paddock at the press parking, and it was a bit easier for me to enter some stuff. Of course due to the fact I didn’t had any press credentials at all, I wasn’t allowed everywhere. Sadly one of the places I wasn’t allowed to be in, was my favourite spot to take pics. Still I had a good time.

Maybe I’ll try to post a few lowres vids I took of the DBR9, some MC12’s and the Lister passing by, if anyone is interested.

MC12:

550 GT / 575M GTC:

DBR9 (I love that car):

Lister Storm:

Porsche 996 GT3 Cup and biturbo:

Corvette:

Miscellaneous:

Of course such things don't pass by without some exotics in the paddock. No supercars this time, but still a nice turn up:

612 Scaglietti:

550 Maranello:

F430:

360:

308:

997 Carrera S:

996 C4S:

EVO:

FX45:

147 GTA:

S4 - E46 M3 Combo:

E60 M5:

745i with some nice Alpina rims:

760 Li:

CLS:

Thanks Wutputt for those great pix from the test day of the 24h of Spa. I very like this race track.

My favorite cars of the bunch are GT3 RSR and the red EVO VII. 8)

No I don't. You can access those places on every 'normal' day. You just have to now where they are (though some are actually 'no entry' or 'enter on own risque' areas but the security didn't bother. The only places where I wasn't allowed to take pics that day was at my favourite spot on the inside of La Source and on top of the Raidillon, with a nice view on Eau Rouge.

Those wheels also weird to me. I really don't like them. I'm looking forward of the Mosler pics. That's a monstrous car

Yes I've seen that duo aso before. I don't know what the owners do, but they it has to do something involving racing events at Spa The GTA you spotted is another one. 'Mine' has got UK license plates, other wheels and NS sticker on the back

Thanks Wutti,

nice pics like always.
These are the first good and big pics from FIA GT.

You are right the Aston is the best looking car this year.

I hope you take some paddock or parking lot shots on Sunday at the Formula one weekend.
