But it's true, after 100mph the Viper is much faster.
edited to add: i've seen it now. why didn't they give one of the new ones to road and track for testing against the veyron?

well due to traction issues boost is limited until 140mph where it makes its full 1100hp possible to use.

^^ thats interesting,seems the lingenfelter uses the same boost idea as the hennessey with limited boost till higher gears,only it doesnt have 1000hp

I guarantee, its making much more then 1100 hp
LPE have been cranking out about 3 cars a month with 1000 hp.
(Gray, I'm not talking about the big idea this time... )

Why didn't they dyno the veyron? I would love to see how much HP that car is putting down. Anybody know of an actual veyron dyno?

that dyno is from a different article. where the z06 was the target not the frist to 200
