JW age restriction.

I was talking the other day with a friend at University and we where talking about cars and I subjected to him JW.
He joined straight away but two days after came to me with a rather intriguing question??
He asked, “Shouldn’t the site have some king of age restriction?? Because I see there’s a lot of over 18 material, such as photos and links to videos, and there’s some member’s that are just kids.
I know these kids can get the same on kazaa or on any other website but looking at the site which seems to be very careful when dealing with copyrights, etc, isn’t it missing something is this specific part??”
After thinking for a few minutes I kinda agree with what he says.
Should these topics be in some kind of “over 18 group” or something like that??

I know that the under 18’s are going to disagree and that everyone is very welcome here and many may not agree.
What is your opinion on this??

Good point. This forum is primarily for cars but I was noticing the other day that the naked ladies on the site get a lot more traffic. Those topics will get something like 700 views but only 10 posts. Pervs like to keep in the shadows I guess.

no age verification needed , but u are right on the ball with the pics and vids of ladies being popular here. one look at the 36,000 views of my 99 pics(prob 90 of em ladies) third only to the post whore extraordinaire TT (197,000 views from 1771 pics)and a007apl. ive been looking at porn since i was old enuf to get a boner and know what to do with it. i wish id found a site like this when i was 15 cause i would be allllllllll over it instead of having to browse shitty porn sites with hurtin pop ups. besides all the pics are tasteful, there is no hardcore and the only thing remotly riske is the pics of tawny roberts i posted in the gallery with her fingering herself!(with 3500 views between the two of em, they are very popular)

We should just slap one of these on those sections of the forum.

That way JW wouldn't be liable for exposing underage people to some good porn.

if age ever became a concern on jw THEN there'd have to be some kind of warning page. actually, maybe just a "terms of agreement" page that's displayed before registering, that would INCLUDE (not be primarily about) an adult material warning. if there were sexual content warning page then people might get the idea that this site is primarily for adult entertainment, which it's not.

frankly, if there were ever an age cap on the forums i think it should be limited to 18, since MOST of the queers and dumbess on jw seem to be below that age. don't make me mention names

what i find amusing is that various alcoholic beverage websites have 21 and over restrictions... ? why? its a website, you cannot drink a website (that i know of)

another thing is that not everyone has access to the gallery if i remember correctly. and a lot of places ive seen have 13 year old restrictions. in america, that makes sence since you can see 1minute of tities in the terrible movie titanic at age 13 in 'tastful' form. i think it becomes 18 when it gets 'vulgur', and 17 when its ... i guess somewhat less then 'vulgur' and that image of the girl fingering herself is the most like that..... but its also uploaded images by users, and not posted by the site as its own, but a place to store, and browse pix.

to close up, i dont think anything new is really nessesary in the form of a porn disclamer more then what already exists with the universal 13 and up.

I think this is very debatable as with many other issues, and there will always be people in favour and people against.

Right, firstly I want to know what 'schools' is like today. Two people have mentioned seeing it at school, I presume on the internet. I never saw any at school Man, I want to go back! Sounds like school is a peice of piss today! I know it is off topic, but there are plans on paying kids £500 to stay on at school after their GCSE's! :shock: WTF!

Anyway, I don't think that an age verification should be a larger feature on the main page. This is ment to be a car site, and as such, may 'scare' some people off if they see an over 18. Perhaps, an over 18 for the specific section of the forum, but certainly not the whole site.

At the end of the day, it is down to Jabba and Co.
