ahhh, finally it`s official, the best kept secret which has been under discussion for a few weeks now:
to celebrate the 40th birthday of the 911 in september Porsche`ll bring out a limited edition 911. the 911 was presented 1963 at the IAA in Frankfurt, and because of that the limited edition 911 will have its world premiere at the 2003 IAA. only 1963 cars`ll be produced, price 95.600€.
base modell is the 996 Carrera but with a 345hp engine.
0-124mph: 16.5sec, top speed now 180mph.
the aerodynamics will have a Turbo style, the chassis is stiffer and 10mm lowered. only one colour is available: GT silver-metallic.
just look at that "911" emblem in aluminium at the back....a true beauty
