another SL...faster than SLR!!!
Has less power than SLR (by 54hp) and more weight and still faster...
Someone tell me how?!?!?!?

0-200km/h in 12.6 sec! still slower than the SLR...
but...0-300km/h the K55 is faster!!!!! (26.7sec) :roll:

intresting, i think they should STRIP the car down alot, aqnd make it weigh fuck all, and enjoy it then.
IMO something to do with the gearing ratios

It has almost 600 lb/ft TQ. How much torque does the SLR have. Also, the power curve and/or geard might be different. This one might have taller gears.

the slr 0-60 3.8 n top speed 207.5 ...thats faster than the k55

the top speed of the SLR is 334km/h...for the K55 they said its over 330km/h... :roll:
but its sure faster 0-300km/h...! But still...how???? The K55 weights over 2 tons...the
SLR is only 1.6-1.7 tons...

well, the K55 has about 20 more Nm of torque, so that'll affect it somewhat in acceleration. the gears and torque curve will really have lots to do with it though, if we could see the curves from both cars it would help to notice the differences.
my guess though is that the top gears (is there only 5 in these cars? ) are a little bit taller on the SLR than the K55, that would easily explain the extra acceleration vs. teh SLR when getting close to top speed.
