Default Need help on what to buy??

I'm having a look around the car market and need some help from people how have some experience with this.
As a student I want something that is good and economical.

I been looking around and come up with these so far.
Audi S3( second hand but quite expensive to run)Low probability.
Audi A3 TDI (new model, new)
Seat Leon Cupra TDI (150HP, new) Seat belong to VW now.
Golf TDI
307 HDI
Fiat Stilo JTD

No chance: Focus,Citroen, Civic.

I know everyone is going to say don't buy a diesel but i prefer to have a diesel than ask my parents for money to fill up the car.
Another thing I need is reliability. I don't won't something cheap that runs for 6 months and garage. If you guys own one or had one before what's your say and would you recomend it??

Thants to all in advance.

I'd say A3 w/o even think about it twice (since your parents would kill you if you'd buy an S3 ).. and about the 307.. now it begins to grow older, but the first waves coming out of the factory had many many little problems..
But well, the Leon is sportier.. and maybe for a 23 yo is more appealing.. the Golf V.. you mean the GT 140 hp version? check out the magazine scans.. there is a short test by evo and they state it is the best model atm... -> http://www.motorworld.net/forum/showthread.php?t=6763
