Default TOP GEAR vs. FIFTH GEAR?

I'm kind of new to the whole european car shows but so far what i've seen has been GREAT! I love the cars presented, insights and comedy involved. I also love the segments brought up which are not entirely geared cars. So far I have watched 2 episodes of Top Gear and a few clips of Fifth Gear. So far, they've been terrific. So I guess the most obvious break-down is... WHICH IS BETTER :?: :!: :?:

My feelings
First off, I have to say that I like Tiff Needell as a host more than any other i've seen so far (vicki, jeremy, richard, james, etc). Being totally subjective of course. But in terms of show content. I think Top Gear has much much more to offer compared to what i've seen on Fifth Gear. I mean, the show has kept me enlightened with the various major to miniscule facts. Compared to the monotonous shows we have in North America such as Motor Trend, Motor Week, Auto Week, etc... I'm hooked on european car shows. :?

First of all a warm welcome to JabbasWorld Yellow_Rice,

Nevermind Geekdiggy, he's always a bit grumpy
The TopGear vs 5th Gear discussion is frequent and widely discussed topic within our community.
Use phrases like Top Gear, 5th Gear, Jeremy Clarkson, Tiff Needell, VBH and/or Stig when you hit the search button
You'll be amazed
