The Viper is overwhelmingly faster than the GT3

Only with left foot braking . It was hilarious at the end, when the GT3 flies past the Viper on the Dotinger Hohe. I thought that the Viper would finally have its chance. I guess that the Viper is running some small restrictors for this series (i.e. 3.6L =/= 8.3L).

I see. Vulkan Racing also runs at 24h Nurburgring. That's why I was confused.

Nice video.I thought the same that you tforth. In some places the viper just cant keep up,an some times he is using the air cone.Well but that viper has some huge grip.

That could certainly be part of it...but Vipers have notoriously poor aerodynamics, so there's a strong likelihood that the 997 just slipstreamed the Viper and then carried the speed on better.

Cool, the Viper was obviously just a little faster, but when he finally got ahead, the Porsche could just pass him back at the end of the straight with a higher top speed.

Great vid thanks.

listen to the viper engine noise at 9:10, he lifts off becouse of the car infornt, porsche was probably right next to the viper so viper couldn't safely pass the slower car, and that's why porsche passes him so easily, I'm guessing the are very even on top end
