Default Twin Turbo Ford GT

Dunno if this has been posted before, but this is a great thread on making a 1000hp + Ford GT.

he now has about 535 RWHP, or about 1001 SAE hp, depending on how you want to look at it. Joe put the GT back to stock, and bought a Veyron.

that move is really beyond me... now i could understand that the whole thing was looked at like an experiment or just an insane project. but why de-tune it again? after all the effort the mechanics put into it i would feel like i was slapped in the face if i were one of the mechs.

he should have at least let it where it was, wasn't it claimed to be perfectly drivable?

It was an experiment, and also a means of boosting business to his own company (one of them) Stage 5 Performance by having a big public halo project car. It's my understanding that they blew several engines before he settled on having his car stock once again (with a mad paint job)
