Q-car?
What do you reckon is the best Q-car ever? I couldn't make my mind up between the Merc 450SEL 6.9 or any Volvo with a T-5 shoved under the bonnet. (a Vauxhall Omega MV6 is pretty effective according to some)

Audi RS6 is indeed quick, but it's not Q, not unless you had a normal body and lifted the suspension. They are so obviously different from even S6s that they cannot be Q.
Besides, it's dull, you barely need to touch it to go quick.

Meh. I'm not trying to spy on the Soviet Union, so this is subtle enough for me.

Ever since driving my grandma's Volvo 240dl as a first car, I've always wanted to do an LS1 conversion on a wagon.....

E39 M5 by far, doesn't stand out greatly since it lacks wide wheel arches.
A more modern one would be the Legacy GT, those can be very quick.

I currently own an E39 M5, whenever I take people out in it for the first time, I always start off really quiet and slowly head out to a quiet piece of road, then I floor it, people can't believe the torque and power on tap
I also used to own a Legacy turbo, had some fun with that also

Q-cars are quiet cars. They are usually saloons with discreet makings and shoved with big engines

The Evo. Normally, BMW badge implies performance and handling.
But an Evo looks exactly like a normal Lancer, i.e. a cheap imported saloon. Just remove the "Evolution" bit.
But really best Q-cars are tuned cars; then you can never tell.
