Obviously, they were going after the Ford GT-R and Panoz Esperante and maybe even the brand spanking new AM V8 Vantage. It might be competitive with bit more work since it was able to keep up with the other (at least mid-range) cars in its class. And LG's still doing better (in points) than Le Mans winners Mika Salo and Jaime Melo in ALMS this year. Lol.
But anyways, Gigliotti wasn't ready financially. Signing up with a sponsor that had an option of bailing out mid-season was very risky. And I'm not even sure why he made the move from Speed GT in the first place.
In any case, I'd hate to not see him in both Speed GT and ALMS next year.
