Default My first rally show vid

Back on the 7th & 8th of June I was at the 2nd running of the Chatsworth Rally show.
Very good event, better than I expected.
Lots of awesome cars & a nice selection of former WRC Rally champions & British rally winners & some current drivers.
But the cars were the stars, so here is a small sample I have put up. Quality is not brillant thanks to google vids' compression format, but it will give you a taste of this wonderful event.
Hope you like it .
Here is my 2nd Rally show short.
Now used Photo Bucket for hopefully a better image result.
Now we all know the big names of rally cars
Ford
Lancia
Fiat
Renault
What a about Aston Martin?
What you are about to see is RGT were you take that Super GT car & rally it.
Enjoy.

Must be an awsome experience to witness the legends up and running strong. I'm envious! Oh, and i imagine present day drivers getting thrills driving some of these beasts of the past which aren't near as obedient and controllable as the rally cars of today..

GJ on the vid, mate! But really, you know you should've just secretly fit your cam on to that Sport Quattro to get some of the real deal footage

Default More of the Quattro S1 E2

This was taken on day two.
Weather was very hot.
Quite late in the afternoon I found the car for some close-ups.
Remeber: this is a replica as the real car vanished that won the San Remo Rally.
But its' one of those wonderful getting close up to a Group B Monster moments.
Had to laugh thinking I saw more of this Quattro S1 E2 than I did in 1985 at the RAC Rally, all of a few secs as it flashed by.
Very special car with a sound that gives you goose bumps still after 20 years plus.
Enjoy this.
More updates as i complete my editing

Default Lancia clips

Last one for now.
More VK Stratos Clips & Fulvia HF.
But the star was a 0.37 Evo 2.
First time I have ever seen a real one so the highlight for me.
It was not ment to run, though the owner wanted to.
But through Saturday night & till early on Sunday morning there were lots of talks going on to get this car running on the stage. Which in the end it did.
So I have the engine warm up & it on the stage, then there is some Delta runs by the same owner of this 0.37 & the Fulvia.
The last part goes to Steve Perez & his Stratos who always drove it at max all weekend.
enjoy
Sorry but file has not fully uploaded correctly.
The last section is missing. Will sort it out later.

Nice shots! Sometimes I wonder if they purposely spin the cars, but after seeing the Stratos on the flatbed I'm guessing a few just get overly enthusiastic. Thanks for the fun.

Even if replicas (i'd say rather an accurate ones) this is still quite amazing machinery! GJ on the vids!
