Personally I have not been to a Grand Prix but I think I would rather watch it at home because the cars are so fast

Well Matty,
you can count yourself lucky. Rest assured it will be the experience of a lifetime.
Still remember the first time I visited a Grand Prix in real life like it was yesterday.
The deafening sounds, smell of petrol & rubber, franctic pitcrews and mindboggling speed.
Aah: those were the days wrote the old man :fadein:

But you can walk in the paddock? that would be great to, normally you can't get anywhere in a F1 weekend, maybe a vacation to Spain this year...

 That's easy if you live near the track! haha
In north europe there isn't any testing going on at all, only the british teams on silverstone, but not as much as in your back-garden

Jeroen,
F1 races back on the circuit of Zandvoort
Only when pigs are able to fly
Suppose you will have to do with this
http://circuit-zandvoort.nl/historie...a1/history.asp
story and these
http://www.circuit-zandvoort.nl/hist...la1/movies.asp
vids
Apart from the logistical nightmare for us humble spectators mr Ecclestone is looking for other circuits outside Europe where National legislation isn't so strict when it comes to advertising and liabillity.

yeah I know, the government should shame itself, only 5 days in a year when you actually can produce proper race car noise it's to sick for words...
Tanks for the links, I haven't been on the site for years

very nice to see more people wanting to go to an f1 race, i do suggest buying seats at turns or bends were most of the overtaking takes place, (therefore more exciting to watch) now in a straight line every f1 car is the same speed, it is all about speed in the corners
