Default Ever wondered what happened to your old car?

I came across this link. I am afraid it only works for UK registered cars only.

Go to http://www.rac.co.uk/myrac/vehicle_d...go.x=17&go.y=9 and enter the reg number of either your current car or a car you used to own. It will show you the following details

Manufacturer
Model
Body type
Colour
Fuel type
Date manufactured
Number of previous owners
Last owner change

i tried it on my past 3 cars and it came up will all their details bar one. The one it could not find has been written off so I suppose if you get no results the car has gone to Auto Heaven.

Nice feature Jaybv6

Unfortunately we haven't got such a system operational in the Netherlands.
However we can check, online, wether or not a car has a valid APK (Dutch equivalent of the British MOT)
https://info.apk.nl/rdwapk/apkdatum.aspx
So that's a way to keep track of your previous cars
I got one question though: How does this system tackles personal registration numbers

I have tried it with 3 personal reg numbers and it comes up with the correct details for the car the number is registered to. Dunno how just works.
