yeah the r8 can do over 300 kph for sure but i really doubt it can touch 320, needs gps to confirm...and i've heard gallardos over read there speed as well, many reading 320s when they're actually in 310s

someone told me thats made on purpose, so you dont get caught by the cops...meaning, the car reads the speed a bit higher. If you have 60 kmh you really have 57 and if you have 100 you really have 91...or something like that....I dont know if its true tough.

Isn't there a 5th gear episode this season that do a comparison on car speedo reading? I am pretty sure eventho it says 320 on speedo, it's prolly ~300.

agree, the monitored speed is always above the real speed ( by law, in order you can't argue with police "that you saw a wrong speed on the dashboard and bla bla" ...)
He did maybe 310 or so, still very impressive :good:

We've GPS compared the speed of a Ford GT, and its dead on until about 130mph, where the GT reads under about 3-4mph when GPS says 187 mph even...

This can´t be the stock one as it is limited to 301 km/h or so...
