I've fired the barret 50 rifle, but that one has a floating barrel, and the recoil isn't that bad at all.

That first chick obviously didn't have a very good grip on the gun seeing as how it came right out of her hand. I've fired one and didn't think it was all that bad.
Try finding some Nitrous Express gun videos, I wouldn't even attempt firing one of those.

imo the wife is stupid to underestimate the gun. well then she probably has seen her husband firing it... so she thought 'hah that's easy'

I like the Deagle but it's so fucking huge, i held a Deagle .357 and it was already massive, the .50 is even wider on the hand. Not confortable IMO.

Custom made, large caliber handguns. One was named Nitrous Express. It is probably the only one in existence. IIRC, it was .65 magnum.
I used to have a video of some dude firing one. He lines up at the range, aims and pulls the trigger. It didn't just slam his hands towards his face. His hands stayed right where they were and the gun shot straight passed his face.
I wouldn't shoot one with wrist protection and a damn helmet.

HAHA Ya that might be too much for a handgun. I tried searching for "Nitrous Express gun" in google (no youtube at work) and all I got were nitrous kits LOL
I might go buy a handgun Sunday if I like it. A Steyr M-A1 .40 S&W. I've never shot one but I have heard they are pretty good. I was holding out for a Sig Sauer P220 .45 ACP as its one of my favorite handguns, but the Steyr is on sale. Im not looking forward to going through all the stupid California legal crap though.

Most people make the mistake of not holding the pistol tightly enough towards the top. The beavertail safety feature on Colt 1911's is meant to reduce just that problem (the gun won't fire unless the the top of the grip is held firmly enough to depress the beavertail.)
I only own a rifle. I'd like to get a Grendel in .22 mag as a nice home defence/target range pistol. They can hold 30 round clips but Californians are legally limited to 10 round clips.
