Well Guys I Get My Car This Monday

Well guys im getting my 04 Cobra this monday and now I need some help. I wanted to know what you guys think about this color called competition orange. Lol just to clear things up im not really a streetracer because I never liked the idea of endangering other peoples lives on the road and if when I need to show some 1 up thats y I have the track . Also hope I dont come off sounding spoiled or anything lol but the reason im getting this car is cause my parents think ive earned it due to my grades are very consistent and usually around 90's or higher, I help in the community, never done drugs or drank and for various other reasons. Also they feel like im capable of being about to drive a car like this because basicallly all my life ive been raised around cars and performance driving*not wreckless driving that would see on the freeway*im talking like auto-x and other types like roadracing.

The colour is quite cool as well, all though I think black suits it better. Is it second hand ??

The Cobra is quite cool, but the Impreza is way better IMO... but why to put a poll if you already decided?

No because most second hand cars are going for close to what the msrp of the new cars are so im getting a new 1 instead of used.

I think that there are way too many Mustangs... I am sorry to say that I have started to think that mustangs are for girls. About 50% of the people I have seen on the road driving a mustang, are females. It seems that all these college rich girls know nothing about cars and the only thing they do know how to say is Mustang. I am not saying it is a bad car, it is exelent specially when directed for performance over value. The problem is that this car is way too common. I dont know about you, but I wouldnt like to spend so much money on something that will be sitting besides me on almost every parking lot or red stop light. The color is cool though.

Get the Cobra, there arent many cobras anywhere. Also the STi doesnt have much of interior goodies.

Here is the deal for those cars on the street.
Which car you get kinda puts you in a social group.
Those cars are at the opposite ends of the spectrum.

The Cobra has more prestige. However, the stereotype of the people who drive them is bad. Either girls or rednecks.
The subaru will always be with whatever you do to it just an asian car. People who drive them are usually into racing and driving like a moron. "Ricers" Maybe you can help reverse the stereotype
While both cars have those negative aspects. That really shouldn't affect your decision. Just something to think about with whichever you choose when you are out
From personal experience...
I would go with the mustang for a car that is more fun to drive. While everyone preaches the reliability of the asian car. Personally I wanna have some fun, and the impreza can't deliver in the torque department like the mustang. There is something to be said for raw power of the mustang( putting you in your seat, you could argue the same for the feeling of the turbo doing the same, but its not the same. The power just slaps you and says I'm here, that does not happen in the impreza
While the subaru has the "reliability" and the AWD. I would still go with the mustang. Also has some heritage on the impreza, at least amongst americans ( I sense some punching back comments coming after that remark)

P.S. as we all have heard no replacement for displacement.

WOw Josh that is inspiring. I can relate too. I do well in school, I behave myself and I have never drank or smoked/drugs. Never. Knowing my parents I will get something pretty nice myself. Not to say I am spoiled either, but I deserve it the same way you do. Get the Cobra just because it's sort of a rarity on the road.

i would choose the sti because its 4 door and its not as common as the cobra, i also hate mustangs because of that, becaus ethey r to comon, if i lived in a place than didnt have lots of muctangs then yes, i would get it
