Default Lexus IS-F exhaust pipes

What is your opinion about this?

Dissappointing. But many hipo cars use this trick.

What surprised me was that the MazdaSpeed6 uses it. You'd think that the pricey cars would try to make it work.

Wonder what they'll do for the LF-A and the triple exhaust.

They pulled this off on the Maserati MC12

Hate this car even more now.

But it is unfortunate to see this done on certain supercars!

At least new Mustang GT's exhaust tips are actually attached when the option is selected.

I was aware of the exhaust trick but I didn't know it was done on such high-end cars.

Kind of pathetic so many cars do this. I cant believe a 500k+ dollar car has that.

The problem for me is not the fact that it isn't connected, but it looks specially crappy this way, it simply doesn't match.

I don't understand why they just can't pipe it? But then again not many cars really need 4 exhaust.

Like the E46 M3, the I6 doesn't need quad exhaust. Aesthetics purposes only.

I think I've seen some Cadillacs that have a dual tip, but one pipe right in the middle...looks like crap. Fashion over function.

I saw the IS-F at at a car show last weekend (Central Florida International Auto Show) and was pretty impressed by it. It looks sweet (minus the dummy exhaust).

Another car that has the worst dummy tips ever is the Mazdaspeed 6. Take a look next time you see one.
