Default My neighbour has got a Gumpert Apollo!

I guess not many people have walked out of their front door this week to see a Gumpert Apollo on their neighbours drive, this is the sight I was greeted with a couple of days ago.

This is the car that was featured on 5th Gear just a few days ago, my neighbour has secured the franchise to sell these cars in the UK, he drove over to Germany a few weeks ago and trailered the car back to the UK.

Sorry about the quality of the pics, it was first light and I only had the works camera.

Ha ha, the Gumpert is on HIS driveway, the TT and A2 are next door, we are not on some wealthy housing estate, in fact the car is worth more than his house! No, my neighbour has built his business on doing top class audio and styling mods to cars, so much so, that Blaupunkt use him for building their show cars in the UK. The Apollo is on loan from Roland Gumpert.

If I get chance to take some proper photos I will.

Pretty awesome! I'd love to step outside one day and see my neighbor with a nice supercar like that! Better yet, I'd like to see a supercar in my driveway some day =)

Awesome sighting man! 8) It looks wild sitting in the drive-way by all those normal cars, how low to the ground is that thing?! I love those completely unexpected sightings of really rare cars.

Nice car 500m away from you, but i read yesterday in the german "autobild" that they have moneyproblems, they couldn't sell not enough cars.

These are bad news, but Mr. Gumpert said he will fight !!!!

Good luck
