^I feel the same way
The standard 599 looks absolutely stunning so I'm glad that, judging by these pics, there aren't visually distasteful modifications. The white-black combo is nice!

Some day, in the close future, I will rent a ferrari or lambo for 1 day. The closest I can go to rent one is West Palm/Miami. Gotta check the prices i think its under 1000$ but I need to be 25 if I recall correctly.

I've been wanting to rent a Porsche or Ferrari for years now. You can rent one under 25 years old, but you pay an extra underage fee. And even if you are 25+, it's more like $3,500 for a full 24hrs.

I dislike those black wheels. The usual alloy wheels are more appropriate for any motor vehicle.

F599 or F630 GTB

Back in early August a snow-white Ferrari was spotted on German roads. Across the side of the car it read Edo Competition, a total give away in regards to who was responsible for this Ferrari 599 GTB package, but not a word was let go in regards to specs. We have finally wrestled the specs from Edo.

The Edo Competition Ferrari 599 GTB comes in two guises, a 650 hp 599 GTB and the 750 hp 630 GTB, for comparison the standard version achieves 620 hp. Many will say that one should not mess with a near perfect car, but that has never stopped Edo Karabegovic from tuning and enhancing supercars like the Lamborghini LP640 or Maserati MC12.

The 599 GTB uses the factory 6.0 liter V12, already the most powerful 12 cylinder berlinetta to come from Maranelo, but has a recalibrated ECU, modified intake system, performance exhaust and high-flow catalytic converters. The 630 GTB on the other hand uses the 6.3 liter FXX engine producing a whopping 750 hp.

The suspension has been developed, together with KW, on the race track and been made suitable for the road and consists of independently adjustable compression and rebound damping providing the driver with whatever set-up s/he wishes. The low-speed compression damping characteristics can be altered while the high-speed setting will remain constant to ensure the ride quality at higher speeds.

The F599 GTB sits on 20 inch rims which are available in customs colours if requested, while the front is lowered by 20 mm and the rear by 40 mm. The 599 GTB uses a new high-flow exhaust system with electronic butterfly valve control, with remote control for adjusting the sound intensity available on request.

Press Release

Specifications - standard version

* Engine: V12
* Power: 620 hp (456 kW) at 7600 rpm
* Max. Torque: 608 Nm (448 ft-lb) at 5600 rpm
* Performance: Top speed > 330 km/h (> 205 mph)
0 – 100 km/h (0 – 62 mph) est. 3.7 s

Features as opposed to the production car:

Engine available in 2 output levels:

* Level 1 – F599 GTB
Recalibrated ECU, modified intake system, performance exhaust system and high-flow catalytic converters; Realized output: est. 650 hp.

Level 2 – 630 GTB

* 6.3 ltr. FXX – engine conversion; Realized output: est. 750 hp.

edo/KW sport suspension:

* Racing suspension technology for the road with adjustable compression and rebound damping. Independently adjustable compression and rebound damping permits truly individual suspension setups. The unique system, with its three different adjustments, allows for low-speed compression damping characteristics to be altered while the highspeed settings, having a strong influence on ride-quality, remain constant.

Sport spring set

* Color red,
* lowering rear: 40 mm, front: 20 mm

edo performance exhaust system

* Newly developed high-flow exhaust system with electronic butterfly valve control (remote control to adjust the sound intensity available upon request).

+ 1 million!

That 599 looks great in white with black wheels and having that much power would definitely give me a massive boner.

I'm not a fan of tuned Ferraris (cause I think they're already perfect! ) but that one doesn't look bad, and much better than the Hamann one.

The thing is.. that car is a GT, and even if I like that black wheels/ white body combo, I don't think it suits that kind of car very well. I like aggressive colors in cars like the F430 , in this one I prefer more discreet colors. 8)
