Default Lamborghinis in the Outback

Yes yes, I'm still alive - just not much time for Internet/photo stuff lately.

I spent 6 days last week in Brisbane/Mt Isa/Alice Springs with 2 Lamborghinis and a V10 M5 - same story as usual just with smaller numbers this year. There were speed limits but not many cops around and the one that did pull us over let us go....

312kmh was seen in the Murcielago - feels amazingly stable and comfortable at that speed. Though doing it on public roads is always asking for trouble, but such a thrill!

Did it a bit differently this year - I met the Murcielago owner and his car in Mt Isa and then we drove the 1200km to Alice Springs on the Friday. Did it in about 7hrs.

Luckily the owner got sick of driving and handed me the keys for about 200km all up throughout the weekend - first time I've driven a Murcielago, and I have to say it was alot easier than I was expecting! Vids to come.

Then a few days in the Outback with the other 2 cars and on the following Monday we got back in the Murci and travelled 1700km from Ayers Rock to Mt Isa to catch a 6pm flight....you can calculate a rough average speed. In total we did 4500km for the trip, so I'm pretty sick of sitting in Lamborghinis now!

After the trip I spent a day in Brisbane and got a tour of the town in the Lambo owners 997 GT3, will post pics of that photoshoot in the next week or so.

You lucky sob!!!

Great adventure as the last couple of years. And great pics as usual. My favourite is no 11 just because of the unusaual environment for a Murcié. Too bad the Stuart Highway is restricted since this year. But it's good to hear the cops were alright

No calendar this year, not worthwhile doing it.

Yeah to be honest we hardly slowed down compared to last year, its so far between towns and the risk of seeing a cop is minimal. No demerit points either out there - just a fine which doesn't bother these guys so much.

Correct, and also the clear side indicators. Makes it look so much better!

long time we haven't heard from you

the SE is one of my favourites Lambos, driving a Murcie is so cool ( my drives in these two models is now almost 2 years old, still giving me a smile )

Stunning photos as usual. The landscape is great

Big thanks for the report
