I hate formal dancing. When I was younger my mom would always sign me up to do stupid stuff because she thought the more I experienced the better off I would be and to some extent I agreed, but not when she signed me up for formal dance lessons LOL. I don't remember any of it other than I didn't really like it. My brother taught me how to breakdance which was a lot more fun.
I have never been to a traditional Finnish wedding, but if its anything like the weddings I have been too, most of the people are pretty plastered by the time the dancing starts so I wouldn't worry too much about not knowing how to dance. Good luck!

i understand u perfectly!
i know "how" to dance, and what to do its just that my body doesnt respond to what it is my head...
then again if u are learning a dance it will just take practice and u will get the hang of it, if its more "freestyle", you will probably struggle more...
so just get someone u are confortable with to teach u and jsut practice, and even if u are stiff it will be ok....

i refuse to move like a chimp and/or do as I am told by whoever is singing. Popular music reggeton or however its spelled like, is a mix of words where you hear CULO and ur suppose to shake it or something. No thnx, my parents never told me what to do, im not starting to follow instructions now.

I was forced to learn how to ballroom dance when I was younger, but quickly forgot it when I grew up. I'm been frequenting the clubs now in college and I'm working to get into the "not sucking" phase.

I don't know how to dance, nor am I willing to learn. Just not something I've ever been into.
However, when I get married I'll probably have to learn a bit.

We can't be true drivers then, because I'm sure Walter Röhrl dances very well. His footwork in that old Audi video is already dancing while seated.
|
dancing involves more of shaking the arse then fancy foot work
