The M6 will get the same engine as the new M5. That'll be a 500 bhp V10 and a 550 bhp V10 for the CSL.

The 500 bhp is what the new M5 will get at least, according to BMW. BMW unofficially said the M6 will get the same engine as the M5 and the CSL-versions will get around 50 bhp extra. But we know those figures for real when the car is launched.

Just rumors IMO..
And to post a pic, you just have to use (no spaces of course)

the BMW-boss said they will make more CSL-models when the M3CSL goes well. There are some CSL-prototypes already made of the new M5, but it isn't still clear those cars will be launched.

To add to the rumors - I was at the BMW Performance Center in Spartanburg, SC attending their M driving school (which was a blast) the instructors at the Center said M5 has V10 490+ hp for US spec final figure not yet determined may be higher as they pass EPA certification. Same engine will be in M6. Two of the instructors have driven M5 in Germany.

Is it certain that they will make CSL versions of the M6?

I personally highly doubt there will be a CSL version of a BMW 4 door.
A lightweight version of a sedan??? Yes I could believe a CSL version of the M6 but certainly not the M5.
And yes, these things going around about the M6 are true. IF it is going to go into production, we'll have to wait till about 2007.
Its all dependent on how the M6 sells
