571hp is more than i expected  I think this will eat an M5 in terms of accelleration!

YEAH hahahahah!!! dont think fellas, it WILL eat an m5. hands down!
but m5's 5 litre v10 is naturally aspirated, yet it churns out 500bhp, that amazes me the most. of course that is made possible with all those f1 tech, but still, that is one hell of an engine.

but again, audi rules!! hail audi to the max!! bwahaha.

I'm pretty sure it will since it has 4WD

So this will be the Gallardo engine with 2 turbos, right ??

That's a lot of power but I rather prefer the engine without the turbos 8)

This summarizes very well the (C6) RS6 motorization question. :good:

For some time the question was only to know if the new RS6 will have a V10 FSI biturbo engine of 5.0L or 5.2L.

I'm not a big fan of the M5, but 20+ more bhp isn't exactly going to turn the RS6 into some wundercar.

Let's see what tweaks they did for the handling.

20 more bhp?..i guess the M5 has 500hp...so the RS6 has 71hp more...and thats quite alot.

More like 70 more hp.
More like 64 more hp

Some say that the M5/M6 V10 produces close to 550hp so maybe Sir_GT had that figure in mind.

/\ Well..we are looking at solid engine numbers...so we cant say anything in perfomance wise..and I really hope that those twin turbos make a hell of adifferencee between M5' N/A and this..otherwise It will make audi looks..hmm...sorta pathetic.

(though I do favor Audi over BMW)
remember that the M5 engine is at a very high state of tune, and the Audi V10TT at a much much lower. Not only future reliability, but also the tuning possibilites will be completely in the Audi's favour....my guess anyway
