Maserati GS Zagato indepth!
And with this update the Villa d'Este chapter can be declared closed. It was the end of day two, and thanks to a friend and fellow photographer, we had a private photoshooting set up with the Zagato team. Sadly the german crew before us took much longer than expected, so the darkness was upon us! We planned to do lot of traveling and panning shots on the open road before coming back to Villa d'Este for the static ones, but considering the limited light left, we dumped the first part and went for static shots only. Sadly we only had one tripod and since he had to sell his pics I just gave it him. I believe usually such actions are paid back sooner or later, even if many times it's just about being owned But this guy is a good one, and he deserved it. BTW, his pics turned out just
For me it was a bit worse: no tripod, no light, I dumped the polarizer most of the time, raised the ISO and shoot like crazy hoping for some sharp shots. The night ones by the lake where shoot at 1/15 and slower (F2.8). Luckily I could save some. The shoot went on longer, but it was impossible then to take pics with no tripod.
even if the pics are not outstanding, I am quite happy about them and I think this zagato creation is another good one! You have to see it in the metal to really enjoy it.
And well, thanks to this shoot, I had a ride in a One Of a Kind car, the day after the world debut! Won't be easy to top that
Click any preview to be taken to the full high-res pics update
enjoy!

This is a really exclusive photoshoot. Great pics but I don't like the car design too much, I prefer Zagato's work for Aston Martin.

Hehe, what a nightmare and also great situation at the same time - you did well!
I'm a bit undecided on the looks of the car, its got something that I like but still doesn't excite me all that much.
Do we get to see your friends photos at some stage?

@TT, awesome shots although - per se - i don't like Zagato designed cars.
as for the tripod.... i always carry a tiny beanbag with me .... easier handling
than a tripod....
cheers
