are they actually going to produce something like that?
And are they going to call it the Supersnake just because of Carolls old car that sold for so much at barrett Jackson?

Dono how you people just don't get it. The mustang is a muscle car, that does better in the corners then any other muscle car. It's more practical, and usable then the vette, and is easier to modify the engine for gobs more power.
The diff is actually quite good, and, the clutch/trans is far superior to many exotic cars in terms of durabilty, and ease of use.
the diff isn't as good as as an exotic, or vette etc. ... its a muscle car guys

Not just Clarkson has said that you know.
|
Yep!
And Nth has a good point though, but if you look at the Roush Mustang why can't Shelby (the specialists) make something like that?

IMHO, the Roush isn't as good as Clarkson says.. its not 90% C6 Z.. sure its fun, but the shelby GT500 really is more fun in real life, where the Roush is more fun on a track.... but the Z is better in both.
and, Shelby is SVT, not an aftermarket group anymore... this car may be different, i dono... i'll hvae to send an email out or two... but if you want a racing stang, the ford racing catalogue actually provides the enthusiast with ALL the tools to make it a formidable track weapon.
But... why isn't it in the inclusive package from OEM? because the market isn't there for it... the mustang isnt the Z06.
