RUF CTR 3
RUF CTR 3 breaks cover
German Porsche customizer RUF has revealed its latest model, the CTR 3. Contrary to previous reports, it is not based on the Porsche Cayman. Like all RUF models, the CTR 3 is Porsche based, but the origin of its mechanical underpinnings has not been disclosed. It delivers 700 horsepower and a zero to sixty time of 3.2 seconds for 380,000 euros.

i really like the looks of it, and the specs...
edit: but actually i was thinking..3.2 to 60mph is quite low for a 700hp engine..the rt12 did the same time with what? 660 hp?

Hmm this looks mean! What a beast It has to be based on the Cayman or the Boxster according to it´s looks though it is heavily modified.

0-60 is also very dependent on grip. 40 hp doesn't really make such a huge difference. There's also a million other variables involved.

on the Autocar magazine website it says that htis car has a bespoke chassis so it's not that much based on anything, only parts sourced from porsche models

This looks extremely awesome and 700bhp is a lot of power . It's another car that i will never see on the road though

Well the RT12 would have more grip off the line, as it has its engine in the back. I think this car will shine in the corners.

You wont actually believe it but I Saw a CTR3 today, It was getting pushed by RUF crew at the company's Bahrain Plant main door while I was in a shuttle bus at Bahrain International circuit which is next to RUF's facility. I rushed to take a picture of it but they got it inside before I reach there!! :x
I'll try to see if I can get a tour inside or even few catalogs in the next few days

The difference is that this one looks good and the other doesn't.

This is an awesome model from Ruf, the specs are impressive too. :good:
The rear window reminds me the Audi Rosemeyer concept.
Thanks Dani for the High-res pix of it, because this exactly what I'm searching.
