Default Still doubt that racing Corvettes are based on stock cars?

Read this article:

http://www.corvettemagazine.com/2001...kitcarspg1.asp

You dont get much more "based on stock" than having cars pulled off the production line and shipped to the race teams

I've never doubted it although i must Say, The C6R's in ALMS aren't your average Corvette racer (ie as found in the Speed GT series etc).

Who ever doubted? All racing series that require street cars to be made are all based of their stock street cars..

But are those KitCar C5's streetable?

While there are many differences, the C6.R and the C6 Z06 were developed side by side.

I agree. This is the weakest thread ever. Corvettes suck. I mean a lot. every one knows the racing versions are developed in germany and based off european cars.

They are based on racing Trabants - and once the Berlin wall came down, the secret was out, and thats why the Vettes have sucked even more since then.

The only useful thing to come off a space shuttle is frozen space poo. That and the multi purpose adult diaper.
