Any love/hate cars?
Do you know any love or hate cars?
those which divide the car fans' opinions and choices.
you gotta love or hate the cayenne, touareg, any rice cars, japanese, small cars like smart, or big, large sofa cars like the cadillacs?
new trends of suv, minivans, just like the toyota matrix, chrysler pt cruiser, crossovers like the crossfire and pacifica.
hate porsches because of their looks, engine place in the car? love 'em by their engineering, ?
love ferrari only by the reason they are the most desired cars? or hate them because any no-brainer with money will buy one of those?
if you any of these cars, please post a reply, i'd love to see more cars, manufactures, types, etc, etc

It'll probably get me into trouble, but i really hate all 911's. I don't know what it is, but they just seem so boring and predictable and all the people I have ever met that drive them are just so arrogant as well. Its kind of like the BMW 5 series for reps and execs, if they have £30k, its like a given they will buy the BMW. I admit they are good cars, but its just a hate thing i'm afraid.

The Lamborghini Countach is probably a love or hate car as well. I wouldn't know about the hate part though...

I saw a brand new dark blue 5 series the other day. It was parked next to a previous 5 series and that confirmed it for me: Chris Bangle is so right. Although the previous model is still a wonderful car to look at, the new car does make it look dated. What BMW did was pretty radical, but I think it's going to pay off in a couple of years.

Yep...there is a strong barrier between fans of the new BMW designs and the old ones. But probably one of the most famous situations like these was with the Porsche 928, when the famous company from Stuttgart placed an engine at the front of the car.

And I just remembered another love or hate car - BMW 3-series Compact. Most people seems to think they look funny. Others love them.

I loved my BMW 325is cuz it handled well, had reasonably good straightline speed, was comfortable, and it was an "I'm doing ok" status symbol.
I hated my BMW 325is cuz of all the electrical and steering rack problems it had. I had to replace the steering rack almost every ~35,000 miles.
I loved my BMW 325is cuz I drove it 100,000 miles in LA and didn't have to replace the clutch. NOW THAT'S A CLUTCH !!!

Skylines are ugly. The design simply sucks. Only thing about them are that they have some kind of "muscle" look and a great engine.
