Default Geneva 2007 - 94 pics + Sightings

I've been at the motorshow last wednesday, I had never been there during the week so seeing so few people (compared to the weekend) was a nice surprise.

Speaking of first times, hadn't really used the 17-40L either before the show ... I'm quite satisfied with the results, while focusing on black cars was a PITA with the 18-55, the L has just no problem at all and so on, really worth the money.

The Sightings :

Highway hunting Even though the sun was shining it was quite windy and cold but anyway, here they are :

That Yellow SE passed me by three times in 10 minutes, when a Swiss is bored ...

And when I thought this was it, this Koenig 560 SEC Widebody appeared  Some of you might already have seen it on SCS.

Time for the show

The picture of the Veyron in the mirror is cool. The white 997 GT3 is also one of my favorites.

Better late then never, the pics are great. Keep them coming

Nope, they're nothing special and I don't want to participate just because I took some regular car pictures this month.

Great pics Darkel!

Really like the sightings, pretty rare some of them!

And The geneva pics are nice too, my favorite is the Bordeaux Red Wiesmann!

And i thought there was only one veyron at the geneva motorshow   (Very creative ). Those motorway style shots are really cool, you seem good at catching the cars at the speeds they go at (I know i find it difficult when I try it ). That Gallardo SE pic is awesome and it does deserve to be in the contest . Thanks for sharing mate

Quick Question :

When you are taking motorway shots, do you using a panning motion (as in follow the car with your camera) or just snap the shot extremely quickly

IMO panning is the best and it bring out the best picture because snapping on the spot can sometimes make the shots end up blurry

I first tried to take some panning shots, but after a few missed ones (like the first time the gallardo passed me by...) I gave up and just set a faster shutter speed to be sure I'm gonna bring at least one decent shot at home. Basically I'm taking motorway shots once in a year so I didn't want to take any risk, especially in switzerland where a supercar can show up every 10 seconds and disappear for the next 10 years :silly:

Bloody hell, a little time on the freeway and you see cars like that - I want to move to Europe!! The QP is wrong though, not sure why you'd pick that colour!

Nice coverage of the show too, thanks.
