Default Just Sharing a Few Pics

Hi JB-members,

Yep, I'm still alive, alive and kicking in fact

Haven't had much time to take pictures lately, haven't been to any motorsports events as well.
Had my hands full with preparing myself for some exams at the uni and with my new girlfriend.

Further on, I'm waiting for Nikon to release their new range of DSLR's. Would like to upgrade to a D3h or a D2xs.

It has been a while since I have visited this forum. I think you guys won't be mad at me for posting a few pictures which I shot last year. I just took a wild grab out of my collection. For all you high resolution lovers ... don't be afraid I have added the link to the highres-version as you can see as well.

Hope you like them ... enjoy them

And TT, if there is a picture in particular which you want to use in an upcoming contest ... be my guest !

Cheers

Hehe, Sameerrao.

Yea, I have already checked a few posts in this forum section today. I must say that I can only see beautiful striking images.

So well done guys !!!

Perfect as always!

I think the most obvious pick for the contest is the Porker do you agree?

TT,

Fine by me mate.

It's the Porsche of Alzen-motorsport during the 24hs of the Ring last year. They built a Porsche with 1054 BHP with a weight of around 1200 kg. The uber machine is based on the turbo so it features all-wheel-drive and bi-turbo technic. However they got rid of the original geometric tt's. The team claim they can smash the highspeed record of speedking Veyron
They are going to Nardo for their highspeed attempt.

Cheers

Really excellent pics, thanks! Give us some more...and I don't know about others, but I wouldn't mind seeing your non-automotive pics (if you have any) also! 8)

I do have non-automotive ones as well of course Besides motorsports I'm fond of shooting animals and landscapes as well. I have done some free-lance work before.
I have uploaded some landscapes pics on the server some time ago, but due to lack of webspace I had to delete them.

I have just read about the JW-meeting at the Nurburgring. There is always a possibility I can come over as well. The thing is that I have classes on Saterdays which leave Sunday is the only option for me. It's only a 3-hour drive if I stick to the speedlimits But it doesn't hurt a man to bend the rules every now and then I will see what I can do cause it's possible that I have to work on Sunday as well.

Cheers

Nice to have you back cowboy. Those are some great pics as ever.
The Porsche and Audi are perfect panning shots but I like the Ultima the most.

Yea, I do like that one as well.
I like the angle, the way the ultima goes through the bend (composition) You have to be a bit lucky though.
Besides the cars, I also try not the forget the human part which is involved, so when I'm able to shoot "in-cockpit" views I always go for those. It's a nice extra being able to see the driver's expression. Thats why it's important to shoot with the sun in your back 8)

It's even possible to get that with pannings .... just love it !!!

Cheers
