Default S-Class Convertible "Ocean Drive" ... So Unnecessa

Who really wants an S-Class convertible, really.
And it's ugly too.
The specs are same as S600

Well, the name's apt at least. Sooooo appropriate for this car. Ocean Drive... Let your leathery skin feel the fresh ocean air and cruise in style with your 18 year old wife in the passenger seat with your golf clubs safely packed in the trunk...

I'd rather see a CLS convertible, though.

Im not a big "non-AMG" Mercedes fan, but I have to say that that car looks the part. May be pointless to buy, but it looks pimp.

Don't like those bling bling wheels. Now it looks like a car that belongs to a black rapper

"Ocean Drive"? WTF?

Silly concept. It's not what the S-class is about, IMO.

So unnecessary... who wants it?

An M5 is uneccessary, Nobody needs it. Same goes for a Zonda, or an Enzo, etc...

Nobody needs them because they're unecessary, and some people don't want them anyway.

Let's all drive in a Toyota Yaris whilst we're at it

i've heard that since this is supposedly the S-class convertible, it is just natural that the s-class sedan will take design cues from this concept (ick) probably once it receives a facelift

Good point.

Although I have nothing against this car, and I assume MB know their target market, I still think it's a poor man's Rolls.

Sort of like how a Lotus is a poor man's Ferrari CS.
