no way, we are finally starting to get some youth development going. soccer is becoming more popular but football and basketball are still the biggest unfortunately. i still think that the US will win a world cup before the world cup means more to americans than the superbowl. we will dominate soon enough.

Wow, we're a snob aren't we? I'm no expert on Soccer, but I do know how popular it is in the U.S., and how many good players are being produced over here; which means we have a good chance of challenging Euro teams sometime in the future.

You may think there is no way an American team could ever win, but what would a Euro-snob have said about an American winning the Tour de France if you'd have asked him in 1980? He would have said you are a crazy dumbass, there aren't even any Americans in the Tour de France...but low and behold, 1986 Greg LeMond.

The USA will never win the world cup, especially as they don't seem to know that its called FOOTBALL! En-ger-land will be triumphant in Portugal this year. We won the rugby and we can win the football as well!
