UK Car Sightings - Update : E46 M3 Conv, Golf IV R32.
Hey, my names Rob and I am a car spotter located in Newton, England. Before i worked in the village pub, i used to cycle there every 15 mins and see what was there as it is an awesome spotting place. However, since I have started worrking there I do not get a chance to snap anymore.
I have a website: www.freewebs.com/ukcarsightings : but has now come to the stage where i need to pay for it. So, I will just post my weekly updates in here.
I currently use a FujiFilm Finepix S5500, but may be upgrading just after christmas.
I hope you enjoy my spottings and any feedback is welcome.
Also, here are some photographs of my Dad's car that were requested by HarryCASI. These were taken during the week when him and I went on a 750mile drive round the black mountains in Wales and through England.
1999 Volvo V70R 2.4 AWD 265. Laser Blue. Limited run of 500. Around 30 in UK.
0-62 - 6 seconds. Top Speed - 155mph limited. 265bhp and 260 lb fts.
Same combined MPG as a 996 Turbo ops: 21.0
Last pic: a combo shot with a 2.3R.

Yes. 5 Speed.
At gis, are you sure it was this exact model, because they don't make the 2.4R in yellow. Just Silver, Laser Blue, and Black.
Cheers, Rob.

Ah OK, no worries. The only hint that its a 2.4R not a 2.3R is that 2.3s come in the saffron colour also, and only have a single exhaust pipe, instead of twin-pipes.
Cheers, Rob.

Thanks everyone for your kind comments. Much appreciated.
On my trip with my dad I saw hundreds of awesome cars but was only able to photograph a few. The highlights were a black Continental GTC and GT3RS 'Bluewriting'. Anyway, here is what I did manage to get. A few of the sightings are also from outside my house.
E46 M3 Convertible, Audi RS4 B7, Golf IV R32, RR Vogue 'Overfinch'. More Soon.
BTW - Im going skiing in Schladming, Austria with my school in February. If anyone lives in Germany or Austria, what cars am I likely to see? I know Porsches and Mercedes but anything REALLY special?!
Thanks in advance, Rob.
