Default Nürburgring: CGT, SLR, F40, Isdera, Merc 190 EVO (56k no go)

Two weeks ago I crossed the border again to visit the Nürburgring once more. I've changed the way my pics look. A black frame, on which my nick and the name of the event is mentioned, is now added around the pics. Let me know what you think of it. I also have to mention my polarizing filter was broken. So I had to do without it. As you will see some pics are overexposured (I'm not used to take pics without pola filter )

The intention was only to visit the Nordschleife, but since there was a lot of activity going on at the GP Strecke, the decision was taking to make a quick visit to the GP Strecke on the way back home. And that was a really good idea. You just stand there and the exotics pass by. In 5 minutes I saw different Ferraris, a CGT, a SLR and an EDO tuned Gallardo Spyder.

Of course there were some F-cars on the Nordschleife as well:

But as usual, the number of Porsches is on a different level. Starting with the 997TT:

996-es:

993, with this nice Turbo S:

964:

930 and 911:

And some BMW's, starting with this beautiful and fast (6-in-line biturbo engined) E30 M3:

Other M-cars: E46 M3 (CSL), E60 M5 and E34 M5:

There were also 2 Merc 190 EVO's:

Audi/VW:

Gulf coloured cars are very popular these days it seems. Just like this Mini:

The most exotic car I saw that day, an Isdera Erator GT mkIII. I don't know how many are built, but it can't be much. And as an extra, I've added a GT40.

Also present that weekend, were 2 new Jag XKR's. Here the pics of the British lot:

Some American muscle as present as well, including this shiny Cobra:

And to end with, some Fords, Volvo R's and R5 Turbo:

But the day wasn't finished. On the way back home, I ran into this F40. I has to follow it just to enjoy the sound

That was it. As you can see it was well worth the trip. There were so many exclusive cars, I couldn't take pics of all of them. And I even missed a whole bunch. The Nürbugring still is an amazing place!
