Regared less of the simon norris.
This one the best tuned road cars in the uk now and maby in the world.
I wonder what times this car would set with a proper racing driver.

Im sorry but that is utter crap! It is one of the MOST tuned road cars in the uk, you cant say its one of the best, christ it has no interior, the most ridiculous lag ever and barely legal semi slicks. It is no longer a road car IMO, its a racing car with plates, same as all the guys i see a local hill climbs, its cheaper driving than trailering it to events!!!
Now, cars such as techart tuned porsches, hartge BMW's etc THOSE are some of the best ROAD cars in the world.

Yes the evo is quick in a straight line, it doesnt look that well set up (still) but its made out to be so much more than it is. I would have thought you'd know pagani, youve posted some really good scandinavien stuff on here, and some of the projects over there are absolutely incredible! I just dont rate this norris evo.

^^ I have to agree coombs... the cra is loud and brash, but looks to be over-powered and I am confident a well driven Caterham or Exige would have lapped as quick

All that noise and accelleraiton showmanship then the locked up wheels and sliding,,, like drifting, great show but not very quick

This car has won a few things.
It's the totb 4wd class champion.
But on a tight circuit a lesser powered car will be faster.
On a faster more open track this thing is pretty fast.
Maby of they tune this car back to 600 650 hp it would do allot better.
I think he used 2,3 bar boost pressure in the video i think that is about 840 hp.

Like what? The most unstable sedan on the track?

Champion of what? The butchered corner entry contest? What was the competition like?

Quantify "pretty fast" - and when has this comparison and measurement been done?

So it's not really that good then?

That is the worst driving I have seen in a long while. BTW, I dont think that would be very fufilling as a road car.

So this test is no different to the 10,000hp ShootOUt Road & Track did.. except the Road & Track one requires street legal cars

All cars most be road legal and you have one class for unlimted type of cars anything go's in this class only for extreme cars.
This event is sort of the same as the road and track shootout the only thing that is diffrent is that is held at a airfield.
